Recently Groups added a number of their comments as standard Right hand formatting. Now the entire newsletter is squeezed into the shortened width. My 5 -7 page weekly is now 9+ pages and the formatting is awful with line breaks in the wrong places. I want to wrap around the forced right hand material that Groups now includes but not make allowance for when I place my copy in. I'm like the blind weather broadcasters, and can't see the screen.
There may be a simple solution. For screen viewing, look at the top Toolbar for View. There is a text size option. I use Firefox, but this works the same in Internet Explorer.
If you refer to altering Microsoft Word columns, that is under it's toolbar, Format and then columns. But this would be a temporary change for viewing. I do not know that there is an easy way for you to do something different from the group parameters.

"Hi
I want to show you how to get a 100% conversion rate on your website traffic.
This is not a sales pitch and there is nothing to buy. There is no squeeze page that is designed
to sell you anything later either.
This is an event that you should know about…
First there was Pay Per Click advertising which pays you on the small percentage of website visitors that actually click on an advertisement.
Now there is "Pay Per Play" advertising that will pay you on 100% of your website traffic… NO CLICKS NECESSARY!
Pay Per Play caters to an audience that is larger than radio, television and print media combined!
Billions of dollars are being spent by big brand advertisers and they are ready to pay you. Will you claim your share of the pie?
Or will you let someone else have it?
To learn more about Pay Per Play visit:

Why do I still have tons of advertisements on my Yahoo! Premium Services e-mail pages?
21.April, 2009
After almost $10 a month I would expect not to have advertisements sucking the life out of my computer when using Yahoo! e-mail. I am using the wrong Yahoo! e-mail with my Premium Service or are they just squeezing me for everything I've got?
Yep, they get you all the time with the ads, eh?
html, can a marquee be put in a three-celled table row?
20.April, 2009
I've created a table with a scrolling marquee in the first cell. When I create the second cell, it squeezes the first cell off the page. I've tried various sizing; it doesn't help. I am also unable to add a third row to this table with a cell containing a textarea. It won't span properly. Any ideas? Thanks.
Are you sizing the cell, the marquee or what? Should be able to set a width/height to get the marquee tags in a 3 cell table.

Compare contrast school vs work?
19.April, 2009
i need a little help with comparing going to school versus working. my brain is stuck right now i don't know where to start!
p.s. I need to squeeze out 5 pages of a compare/contrast essay. think i can even do it with this topic?
So start here:
School is for children
Parents pay for it with taxes.
Children have no responsibility or liability.
In hopes of improving the future of children, schools put up with all sorts of misbehavior, irresponsibility, and general crap.
Work is an adult matter. If you are working at 15, you are learning to be an adult.
Payment is simple–money for performance. Parents are irrelevant.
YOU are responsible for what you do or don't do.
Your employer cares mostly about the present. Be responsible and produce NOW, or you're out on your butt and the money stops. No tardiness, absences, lame excuses, putting the blame on someone else, whining, bitch/moaning–you're being paid, no matter how badly, to JUST DO IT. My first job paid 75 CENTS per hour–there was no minimum wage in 1957, and I was 14. As a manager, I employed young people for 25 years, and guess what–almost every one pleased me a great deal. The Educational Outreach program of my city asked me to be their keynote speaker FIVE times.

How do you use a squared notebook?
17.April, 2009
I've got a Moleskins notebook but the pages are squared rather than lined. At first I tried to use them as lined notebook — i.e. treat the horizontal lines of the squares as normal lines and just ignore the vertical lines. But the squares are too small — end up having to squeeze my writing into the narrow lines.
I'll have to go back and buy a new notebook — but I'm very curious what people use squared notebooks for?

Anyone is newspapers to explain the trend?
16.April, 2009
My local newspaper has always been crammed with ads and very liitle space is given over to news but now I find my National newspaper is going the same way. Full page, half page and third page ads every other page it seems. Large photos squeeze out the feature text and a huge photo takes up the centre pages.
The reason for this is partly to do with money but also to do with advancements in technology. Nowadays there are so many outlets available for news that by the time newspapers are printed the content is already old.
On the financial aspect the newspapers will do the bare minimum the need to sell the newspaper to their readers because as long as they're buying it the advertisers will keep coming. Look at this website- http://www.nmauk.co.uk/nma/do/live/factsAndFigures;jsessionid=87FFD9D7D28541029A2A203C610F1298
if you compare the newspapers you will see that the circulation of the paper defines the advertising fees it charges. You may also notice the trend of the papers with highest circulation and fees being those that tend to have the least constructive news.
I can choose almost any topic I want but I have to analyze it using either conflict, functionalist, or symbolic interaction theory. I have to be able to squeeze out 8 pages, around 2400 words, not including the title page, reference page and abstract. I waited way too long to get started and now I only have three days to get it done.
How about something involving the U.S. civil rights movement and the election of Obama as president?
Is this a good start for a short story(40-45 pages)?

I’m 15, upcoming sophmore, wishing soooo badly to become a writer. I am more into writing novels than anything else, but this makes me love short stories. I sounds very professional real small town kids. Just fix the spelling mishaps, etc and take out the ’shall’ in shall take a walk, and just put in something like “We’ll take a stroll in the dark” and then have a small laugh, or like “we should take a walk”, etc etc, just some ideas. Literally other than that love it!!! Truely sounds great! And i can tell you’ve worked hard. Well done!
Do you belong to the "new Church of Global Warming"?
